SEPARATION AGREEMENT

This Separation Agreement is made on March 14, 2026 between:

(A) MICHAEL J. CARTER, of 410 Linden Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403 ('Party A'); and
(B) SARAH E. CARTER, of 22 Maple Grove, St. Paul, MN 55102 ('Party B').

WHEREAS the parties have decided to live separately and apart while reserving their respective legal positions, the parties agree as follows:

1. SEPARATION. The parties shall live separately and apart from the date hereof. Neither party shall molest, harass or interfere with the personal liberty of the other.
2. CHILDREN. The parties have two minor children, Ethan (age 9) and Maya (age 6). The children shall reside primarily with Party B, with Party A having access every other weekend and one mid-week evening.
3. FINANCIAL. Party A shall pay USD 2,800.00 per month to Party B for the support of the children, by direct transfer on the 1st day of each month.
4. PROPERTY. The matrimonial home shall remain available for the use of Party B and the children. Personal effects have been divided as set out in Schedule 1.
5. NON-ADMISSION. Nothing in this Agreement shall constitute an admission of fault by either party, nor shall it be construed as a decree of divorce or judicial separation.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY. The parties shall keep the terms of this Agreement confidential, save where disclosure is required by law.
