The Barlow Respiratory Hospital Nursing Residency Program is an in-depth training program designed to prepare new grad nurse (RN) with the specialized skills needed to provide exemplary nursing care for medically-complex and ventilated patients. New grad RN welcome, Foreign Visa Sponsorship available for Canadian Nurses. Experienced healthcare professionals transitioning from Skilled Nursing Facilities to Acute Care welcome.
RN Position Description:
RN provides direct nursing care including: assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients. RN provides patient care under the direction of a preceptor during orientation period.
New Grad Nurse (RN ) works according to scope of practice and hospital policy under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, and/or Clinical Director. Integrates biopsychosocial concepts, cognitive skills, and technically competent practice in providing care to patients with simple or complex needs.
Qualifications:
- Current California RN license
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
