United Health Services (UHS) is seeking an excellent physician for a clinic on the campus of a critical-access hospital in beautiful Walton, New York.
The ideal candidate would be a Family Practice physician that is willing to see outpatients in the office while rotating every other week to see patients in the hospital. Would also consider straight outpatient or Internal Medicine trained.
DVH is critical access with around 17 -20 beds. Many of these are “swing” beds which is the equivalent of subacute nursing patients. We have on average about 3 acute patients.
Ideal schedule would be:
Week 1: 40 hours of office patients.
Week 2: M-F 4 hours hospital in am. 4 hours office in PM.
Week 3: 40 hours of office patients.
Week 4: M-F 4 hours hospital in am. 4 hours office in PM.
* We could vary it slightly if candidate wanted to work hospital through one weekend.
